There are 4 classic trade-evolution Pokemon that appear in almost all games. Those are Machoke, Graveler, Haunter and Kadabra. Also, all the Pokemon that uses the metal coat or the King's rock to evolve has to be traded while holding that item. So Slowpoke (If you want Slowking and not Slowbro), Poliwhirl (If you want Politoad and not Poliwrath), Onix and Scyther also need trading to evolve. There might be a couple from Gen 4 that need trading, but I'm not that familiar with those. Hope this helps :)
Rhydon cannot evolve in Pokemon Silver/Gold/Crystal.
In Pokemon Gold, Silver, and Crystal, Poliwhirl evolves into a Poliwrath when you use a Water Stone on it. Poliwhirl can also evolve into Politoed if you give it a King's Rock to hold and trade it to another player.
You have to use a Kings Rock to evolve Poliwhirlinto Politoed. You give the Kings Rock to Poliwhirl and trade it with a friend which triggers its evoloution. IMPORTANT: DO NOT EVOLVE INTO POLIWRATH FIRST.

You cannot catch Poliwrath in the wild. You'll need to evolve it from Poliwhirl by a Water Stone.
When you use water stone or trade him with king's rock and he evolves into Poliwrath with water stone or into Politoed with king's rock.
Poliwhirl, Shellder, Staryu, Eevee, and Lombre.
