What happens is you enter a secret level with a big red switch in the center, but you need Mario. You're flying, and if you turn right, you'll see some red coins. You can fly around in a large circle and get the red coins, or you can go straight to the switch and jump on it. This turns all red blocks solid, and they will either contain a Power Flower which gives Mario the ability to float, Luigi disappearing power, Yoshi fire breath, and Wario a body of metal. But sometimes, with Mario, the block will contain a feather, giving him the ability to fly. (You either have to triple jump or get shot out of a cannon to start flying.) The only exception is in Snowman's Land, where if Mario hits a red block, a Bob-omb will come out.
