When you start Flipnote Studio, before creating or viewing a Flipnote, go to settings on the upper right corner (the wrench). Then keep on pressing the arrow until you see Advanced tools "On and Off". Turn it "On". The next time you make a Flipnote, go to menu. Tap on 3, hit "Select" and you should see the breath paint. To use it, mark the part that you want to paint. Then blow into the mic.
Turn on Advanced tools (in the flipnote menu screen, hit the wrench in the top right corner). Then when you create a flipnote, go to the menu and hold down the R botton (or L if you're a righty).
First, go to the studio and click on view flipnote, then on your flipnote, then click on the frog, then the 2, then on layer 1 or 2 click on the black color box and then the color you want. Also, you can mix colors. For example, for the first layer use blue, put some blue paint on the screen. For second layer, use red. DRAW red OVER the blue paint. You will make purple.
There is no way to add colors to flipnote studio, but you can make colors by mixing. e.g. red + blue = purple. here is how... 1.(layer 1-blue) fill the screen 2.(layer 2-red) use paint on tool 5 and fill the screen. try experimenting and making your own
You mean like fonts? For that, you either need to download Sprite and Fonts Packs on Flipnote Hatena or you can create your own. To create your own, use the paint #5 on Advanced tools. Color the center of the page. Enlarge the layer 3 times. Swith to layer 1 and use pen #3. Fill in the squares with the pen to create a picture. Then shrink layer 1 3 times. Enlarge layer 1 again 3 times and fix any deforms. Then shrink layer 1 three times again. Lastly, erase layer 2.

yes you can here's how: go to the mic on your flipnote option 1 in there now go press the mic in the microphone tools when it says record use whatever music you wanna record like "Blow" or "The only time is tonight" and if your gonna post this on hatena (a flipnote simply saying the song's name and the song) don't do that! you need to put animation and stuff like people dancing around in the music video. music videos must always star at speed 6

Thing you could try to improve on flipnote making;Have a unique idea, don't copy anyone's work.Use different techniques.Change the speed of the pages and how many you use for each item or part of the flipnote.Look at the popular flipnotes made by other people and try to recreate one like it (Do not copy though!)Practice. The more you practice the better you will get at making flipnotes.
