How do you unlock stages in Super Smash Bros Melee?

Play up to 500 melee's you will unlock most stages, Unlock all the characters this will get you a few stages, Whack sandbag over 2,000 ft (only can be done as Yoshi) this gets you one stage, Complete a 15 minute melee on multi man melee mode (you don't need to get any KO's just finish) this gets you another stage, Finish target test with all characters this gets another stage, Lastly finish all event matches this will give you all stages.
