Not that my name references the thing your talking about, but a machine head refers to the metal knobs on the stock of the guitar that you twist in order to tune a guitar and that is what the strings are wrapped around. My name refers to the band.
Nowadays, they are generally made of die cast metal.
You must defeat the game on hard with every character.
No you can't. Rockband is for the 360 and PS3. Guitar hero controllers wouldn't even be able to be plugged into the console. Actually, Rockband does come for the ps2, and yes you can use guitar hero guitars for Rockband. Rockband also comes for the WII. No you can not.
No. I will explain why. A guitar has 6 x (about) 22 fretting points (6 strings with 22 frets) which gives you 132 things to press separately if you press down only one at a time. On a guitar hero controller you have five buttons which result in about 32 combinations if you press ANY amount of buttons. Thus, as you can see, it is much more complicated to play a real guitar than the guitar hero controller. The only thing guitar hero teaches you is how to maintain a certain rythm and how to keep your head if you fretted the wrong note during a complicated solo. Certainly not how to play a real guitar.
the bit connecting the head to the neck. the plastic or metal part which has grooves for the strings.
