Unlike a Windows-based computer, Macintosh computers do not utilize a registry. To erase the program, simply drop the "Sims 2" folder from /Applications/ into the trash and empty it.
**CORRECTION** This is incorrect, it's much more complex then simply dragging and dropping one file. go to /user/Documents/EA Games/ and delete Sims 2 folder go to /user/Library/Preferences find any files that are com.aspyr._________ There, you have a lot more deleted then the simple drag and drop people suspect works.
Left click on any of your deskstop icons and select delete, an option to remove programs will come up, click on it and it will take you to a list of everything you have installed, search for Sims 2, once you have found it left click on it and chose uninstall.
You go to the folder you downloaded the items in, and simply delete them. (The folder is Documents/EA games/ Sims 2/ Downloads)
Yes you can you can also use it on another computer.
(Read Warning at bottom please!) Well you can't really just uninstall it, but a way to is to open your hard drive window, then find your Sims 2 folder. I have mine right in the HD (Hard Drive) window, but you can also find the folder in Documents and Applications. Then just drag it to the trash. Make sure you get all The Sims folders as I have 2 so you might as well. Then at the top click Finder and then click Secure Empty Trash. BE CAREFUL though! By pressing Secure Empty Trash, you will not be able to recover the files! All Game data on the disc and your HD will be deleted! (BTW, by deleting it though it will free up a lot of space :D )
No, you cannot have Sims 2 pets on Sims 3. You must have Sims 3 pets for Sims 3 or Sims 2 pets for Sims 2.
Yes! If you uninstall The Sims 2 PC and then re-install it your sims will be deleted!

you can but it would not be wise it takes up extra space and the games will be separate so i would recommend that you uninstall the sims 2 before installing double deluxe
if your game has problems then uninstall the sims 2 petsand then reinstall it
Uninstall the Sims 2 you already have and then install Double Deluxe

To do this you must uninstall then reinstall the game.
You need to uninstall any expansion packs you have on there, but if it carries on I'm afraid you'll just have to uninstall the sims completely. Sorry :(
