Only the teen sims can run away. To make them run away, you have to have your sim have low daily and life relations with all the other sims in the house. When my sim ran away, she had a horrible relation with her dad, but she was close with her mom. Her mom died and she ran away. So I think you might have to have low asparation as well, but I'm not sure.
Well my teen sim after her dad died the mom got remarried, she fell in love with his son. Then everyone in the entire house except the son hated her like -100. but she came back after two sim days then she drowned in the swimming pool.
Teen Sims run away when they have a bad relationship with everyone in the house. If your teen Sim ran away, you can either:
1. Wait until they're almost an adult and they'll come back
OR
2. Click on your phone > Report (Sim's Name) Missing and the police will bring them back almost immediately.
