How do you put rocks in the safari zone in Pokemon soul silver?

You go to the safari zone and there the Baoba dude will give u a challenge. First i think is capture a geodude and show it to him, btw make it walk behind you. And then you will get i think you get to move the safari things around. Second he wants to to switch the zones so you find a sandshrew. Put it behind u when u walk and he will give u the item placer. And then u can put rocks and statues of u and it will change the pokemon inside the zone! I hope this helps whoever is looking for this!
