get an AR and plug it into ya computer, then save a file (from game faqs is best) onto the AR database, when you plug it in load the saved file on the AR and not on the game chip and vwalla!

Transferring a pokemon to another save file is easy but will require another 3ds running the same game. you must transfer the pokemon to the other game, then switch save file then transfer the pokemon back.
I cannot save in the English Pokemon platinum. Every time I save it's erased when I restart the computer. I am using a DS one SDHC supercard. Can anybody help?
I have the same problem. I tried many roms, they all worked fine, but when I turned my DS off after I saved. All the data was gone. Again. I even tried saving the game more than once, I changed some patches. But nothing works. It's getting really annoying because I at least tried six different roms. :edit by koennetje: it doesn't actually erase your save file. At least i don't think it does. I have exactly the same card as you have and when i check the save file, it was still there. So the point is not that it erases the save file, but rather the loading of the save file. I got a similar problem when my i save and turn off and turn on again and select Pokemon platinum i can only see a white screen. (The save File is still there i checked)
