1. Each entry must equal the sum of the number clue to its left (for across) or directly above it (for down).
2. You may use only the numbers 1 through 9.
3. Within an entry, you may not use a number more than once. Unlike Sudoku however, a number may be repeated within a row or column if it occurs in a different entry separated by a clue or a blank.
