How do you open the gate in cutopia on my sims kingdom?

You actually can't get a key to it. There is no key. You have to connect the gears to the areas around the gate. But don't go in, because Spencer will stop you.

You put the axels from the windmill going straight over directly opposite the gate. If the axels are too high/low/ over the left/right too far, use the cogs (gears) to connect them. Do this on both sides, idk if this is necessary but i joined the two lots of cogs together with more cogs but like i said idk if u have to do that. To distract spencer, what i did was got a generator and connected it directly to the side of one of the windmills. Then i placed a computer (from the scroll at rocket reef, if you've completed rocket reef, you would have it, its not one of the optional ones as you need it for a task) in front of the gate and connected to generator to the computer with wires.
