Bring up the cheat box ( ctrl shift c) and type aging off, to turn it back on just bring up the cheat box again and type aging on.

In sims 3 how do you age your sims?
To make your sims age buy a birthday cake. Then click on the birthday cake and all the names of people on the lot will come up choose the one you want to age then the sim will age. But remember when you make the sims age once you have aged them you have to wait a couple of days if you want to age the sim again because once it has just grown up you can't age again straight away.

Yes you can. While the Sims in the first version do not age or get pregnant, if you have your Sims kiss over and over and over again, the option to have a baby may come up. I think there is also a love bed where they can "play in bed" and sometimes that will bring up the have a baby option. But once you have the baby, it will need a lot of care for 3 days and then it will grow into a child (and stay a child forever).
