Go to the Nether, and break glowstone, it looks yellow and glows brightly, and glowstone dust will fall. Pick up the dust and put it in a 2x2 formation in your crafting table. This will give you glowstone blocks. Also, if you have a silk touch enchanted pickaxe, you may break the blocks and have them built automatically.
