How do you make NPCs in the sims 2?

Go to your neighborhood, select a family YOU Have already created and before you go into the family's home put the cheat console (white box that appears) by pressing Ctrl+Shift+C (Without the Plusses) then go into the lot of your choice. after the loading screen there are tons of more actions than normally. shift click an object by holding down shift and then you will have access to these actions. you cannot create an entirely new npc, but if you shift click the mailbox, you will see an action to "Make NPC" and there are thousands of selections of npc's to choose from.
