You must do the following steps IN ORDER:
1. Go to vermillion city, and trade the Spearow for the Farfetch'd.
2. Go to the S.S. Anne, but not the actual ship, surf to the side until you get to the truck.
3. Save the game and turn it off.
4. Turn the game back on, and fish using the Super Rod, and catch the first pokemon you hook.
5. Save the game again and turn it off.
6. Go into the kitchen and have a snack.
7. Turn the game back on.
8. The truck should be gone, or 2 Rockets are walking around.
9. If the truck is gone, you messed it up somewhere.
10. Approach the rockets, and they will challenge you. they have lv 45 pokemon so be prepared.
11. After beating both rockets, they will ask if you want to join Team Rocket, and say No. They will capture you, and take you to the Viridian City Gym, in Giovanni's hidden quarters.
12. Giovanni Challenges you, again, whether you beat him for a badge yet or not.
13. After Beating him he gives you the super Ball, and sells em for $500 a piece. the hidden chamber is now accesable. The super ball beats the masterball because it can catch any pokemon, trainer or wild, without fail.
14. If you are still Reading this and getting ready to try it....You Fail.
There is NO WAY to join team rocket....period.
