That happened to me to! It depends if you have extension packs on your Sims that are old (Open for business) but don't have new ones (free time) then sometimes it doesn't let you have more than one extension pack at a time. I don't know why it does this that's what happened to me and i got free time and now i can play all my extension packs at once. Its annoying but if this is what happened to you then un install the extensions packs you don't want as much as the others ones. sorry if that's not what happened to you but that's what i did but if you want to keep them all the sorry but i cant help you :(
