Inside your World of Warcraft game folder you will find a folder called "Interface". Inside is a folder called "Addons".
Addons provided on abovementioned websites usually come zipped, with the files in a folder with the addon's name.
Simply copy this folder entirely into the "Addons" folder. Make sure to quit WoW and restart it. At your character selection screen, at the bottom right, is a button "Addons".
Click it to see a list of addons you are using.
Make sure all addons you want to use have a tick in the box, and that the box "Load out of Date Addons" is ticked, in case you installed an older addon.
Log into your character, and the addon should now be active.
Yes, you can use any addons that a full account can use. There is no limit.
There are two major sites that deal with World of Warcraft addons. Curse and WoWInterface (See related links for the addresses). Google code is starting to have more and more addons as well, however, those are a little harder to find.
Considering WoTLK is 18 GB Normal, i'd keep atleast 25 - 30 gb for catacylsm inclusive of addons
no
When you install WoW, it install all expansions and patches up to the current client. This is even true if you do not upgrade your account to BC or Wrath. So it will take about 15 gigabytes.
No - all WoW addons require registration ($) and the previous addon: WotlK requires The Burning Crusade, The Burning Crusade requires a registered version of WoW.
You should download the curse client and download the addons via that, on my computer the addons automatically go to the WoW addons folder located in the interface section of the WoW folder.
The Quest Helper mod for World of Warcraft can be downloaded from the Curse website listed below. You do not need the curse client to install it to your game, although it makes it easier. Just install it like any other addon, to your addons directory of your WoW interface folder.
Wow interface is good for beginner and curse is the website you use to find addons
World of Warcraft, or WOW, addons have different benefits, for the most part, the addons allow players a better gaming experience. WOW addons can be used by players to customize the look of their game as well as enhance player performance in the areas of questing, gaining skills, obtaining achievements, and running dungeons and raids.
In World of Warcraft, addons are little bits of code that allow you to do repetitive tasks, keep a database of information, and change the user interface (UI). These addons are free of charge (although you can still donate).
They are addons for a specific class that you play. I play a priest so I get addons specifically for priests to make it easier for me to play my class.
In order to manually install an addon, first download the addon and unpack its zip file. Everything contained inside the zip file should then be copied into the World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons folder. When you start up World of Warcraft again, click the "addons" button at the bottom left of the character selection screen and make sure that the addon is there and the box in front of it is checked. The addon should now be running properly. If the addon has not been updated for some time, you may need to click the "load out of date addons" option for it to work, but this increases the chance of the addon causing errors.
The easiest way to get addons and install them are with one of the two major addon clients, The Curse Client (requires a curse account) and WOWInterface's Minion. To manually install an addon, you need to download it to your computer, unzip it if it is zipped and then move it to your %wowfolder/interface/addons/ directory.
No, most addons will not get you banned. The only things that addons are allowed to do in game are approved by Blizzard. If Blizzard does not want an addon to do something, they just make it so that addon can not do it.
Depends on what kind of addons they are. You don't need Cataclysm for alot of them, though.
You do not have the correct addons needed for those props. That's why there is an error, get used to the names of addons, then download and install them from garrysmod.org
