You just go to the supermarket and buy 3 watermelons (or apples if you want a boy) and make the female sim eat all three. Like above said, keep her happy so you can pick out your traits for it. This was the first time i had a pregnant sim (Because i always create the kids/teens) and I made the husband go to the supermarket because we only have cars and I don't think its safe for someone pregnant to drive..
So if you send the husband out to buy the watermelons/apples, just drag them out of his inventory and put one at a time on the dining (or any) table. Make the female sim eat all 3. There ya go. c; Now I'm just waiting for her to give birth....
