These instructions apply to every type of fruit tree.
First you must buy your fruit seeds from Vesta's store, which is open at 4:30pm.
Then when you return to your farm, dig out a 6x6 square with your hoe. Be sure to fill it in too. Walk inside the tilled square and plant the seeds near the middle. They will probably end up somewhat off-center; that can easily be fixed by digging additional land around the edges. The reason that the seeds must be surrounded by a 6x6 square is because trees take a bit more room to grow. Your tree will be very small with few leaves for about a season or so. Soon after it will become fully mature and start producing fruit in its designated season. (Note that apple trees will only grow apples in Fall.)
