How do you get to world 4 and 7 in new Super Mario Bros?

World 4:

Beat World 2-Castle as Mini Mario.

You can get a Mini Mushroom in this level, but I would recommend getting one into your reserve. Once you get to the battle room, ground pound Mummipokey once. Then activate your Mini Mushroom. Without getting hit, ground pound him again. Take the key to get to World 4.

World 7:

Beat World 5-Castle as Mini Mario.

This is a little trickier because the Mini Mushroom is inside a roulette box instead of a ? Block. You should probably use a reserve for this one, too. Once you reach the battle room, run under Petey Piranha and when he slips, ground pound him. Then activate your Mini Mushroom. He's harder now because he's hopping now. Do the same thing you just did, take the key to get to World 7. If you like, you can do it the easy way: activate your Mini Mushroom at the roulette box and then hope for a Starman. Wait for it to run away, and before it falls into the pit, get it. Keep running. The just touch Petey Piranha and take the key.

Alternatively, you can take the secret exit in World 4-Ghost House. I actually recommend this because you will have to do this to get three stars regardless, but you don't have to do the castle, so doing this will save you the trouble. This also requires a Mini Mushroom. Since this level doesn't have any, you'll need one with you. I recommend a using your reserve instead of going through the whole level. Start by heading to the right, then enter the door. Hit the ? Switch to make four ? Blocks appear. Then just stand on one to get pulled up high. If you miss the ride, enter and exit the door. Once you see the Balloon Boo, go left and hit the ! Switch while avoiding the Boo. Climb up on the red platform with the pipe, but don't enter it. Instead, climb on top of it. Activate the Mini Mushroom. Wall jump to get up high. Wall jump even more to get a Star Coin. Exit the door. Be careful, there's a Boo outside. Grab the flag to complete the level. Take the cannon you've unlocked and blast off to World 7! That wasn't too hard, was it?
