You can but i did also hear don't do it against big monster like Kalphite Queen or King Black Dragon, because they will simply break it and you will have to get a replacement.

There are 3 places that I know of where you can kill dogs. 1. McGrubber's wood north west of Seer's Village. 2. The mansion east of Ardougne Square 3. Wild Dogs in Brimhaven Dungeon (Requires 675gp to enter) Note that the dogs in number 1 and 2 and lvl 44 and in Brimhaven Dungeon they are lvl 63 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- if you are doing slayer and are a low level the best dog to kill is the jackal in the desert(south west of of nardah and pollivenich note these are the lowest level dogs that count for slayer at level 21 but u need waterskins otherwise you will die :/
