To get to Volkner you must defeat the 7th gym and go to the top of mount coronet. You will see Cyrus sumoning dialga and palkia. giratina gets mad and pulls him into the distortion World you must go into the portal you see to get to the distortion world. Go inside and get to the way bottom you will fight ctyrus when you get to the bottom then your Pokemon will be healed by cinthia and you will fight giratina. If you kill giratina you can still catch him in turn back cave after defeating the eleit four. after fighting giratina the guy blocking the path to sunyshore will go away.
