first you must have beaten mashtooth at least once because that will unlock big bossdown. then you beat big bossdown with a fast enough time. on my second attempt, i was starfy and i got a time of 7:55:57 and it said i got 100 points and that i had gotten stage 10. now for some tips:
starfy is better at fighting then starly which is why you should use him
only use the health restoring devices when you REALLY need them and only then should you only restore a couple of hearts or activate the device only once or something cuz they take a lot of time to use.
when you fight mega mashtooth at the end you still have to knock the giant rock back at him at which point you press the y button super crazy fast as in faster than you have ever pushed it before. if you dont, you may eat up several minutes trying to push the rock.
yeah what the person above me said only you have to beat big bossdown under 9 minutes!
