How do you get the horse in Legend of Zelda Majora's mask?

To get the Garo's Mask, which is required to get into Ikana Canyon, all you have to do is beat the Gormon Brothers in a horse race. Remember, DON'T USE UP ALL YOUR CARROTS UNTIL YOU ARE NEAR THE END OF THE RACE!

To get Epona, the following items are needed first.

1. Goron's Mask

2. Permission to use the bomb that only the Gorons can use. (After defeating Goht, the huge Goron will give it to you after you open the race track and return to him afterwards.)

3. Bow and Arrows

Step 1: On Day 1, go to the bomb shop in Clock Town. There's a Goron that will sell you a goron bomb (must be Goron to buy it).

Step 2: Go to the boulder blocking the ranch and place the bomb in front of the boulder. (shoot the bomb with an arrow to get it blown up faster)

Step 3: Talk to the little girl with the bow (she'll go on about weird creatures and calls you grasshopper). She'll give you a challenge of shooting balloons with arrows on horse back, complete the requirements and you earn Epona's song thus letting you summon Epona even after you go back in time. (How the horse gets around the boulder however, is a mystery I'll never know)

As a side note, you can challenge the two brothers(they look like Ingo from Loz: Oot) to a race right after your done. (Just talk to either one on horseback) Beat them both and you'll get one of the coolest masks in the game, the Garo's mask. It's especially useful after you're done with the Zora's.

First of all, you have to have beaten the Deku Temple. After you have done that, you must beat the Goron Temple, and of course do some things in-between this stuff, after you can Purchase Powder Kegs, if that's their names, you must blow up the Boulder in front of the Romani Ranch on the FIRST day. Then you just have to do this thing with your arrow on Epona before you get her. After you finish the Target Practice, you obtain Epona.

After you get permission to use powder kegs, go to Romani ranch and blow up the big rock. After that, go to the little girl who running around. she will ask you to be her assistant and then you will say yes. she go on about some stupid thing then shell ask you to practice. if you shoot all of the balloons under to minutes shell say the you and epona work pretty well together. after that she teaches you eponas song again and then there you go. you get her even if you go back in time you still get her. First of all you have to get the fire arrows. Then unfreeze a ice block. (near the area where a bunch of Gorons live) Talk to the big Goron and take the test. Mainly, just avoid enemies and get the bomb to the huge boulder. After that you should get a powder keg.Go to Romani Ranch. Note: this has to be on the first day. If it isn't, go back in time and buy a bomb from the Gorno in the Bomb Shop in west clock town. Take out your powder keg and blow the big boulder up. Next, talk to Romani(the girl who has a bow) Say yes to everything and play the minigame.You will now get the horse. She tells you to come back at night. Do that. You have to fight off aliens till sunrise. Just stand in front of the barn and keep shooting arrows at them. If you run out, break the box near you or cut the graa behind the barn. If you shoot till sunrise, she'll give you a bottle. If you want to get a mask, come back at 6 o'clock and talk to Cremia(Romani's sister)When the bad guys start coming, shoot them with your bow and don't worry, you get unlimited arrows. If you protect the milk long enough, you end up in clock town. Crenia gives you a cow mask. That mask allows you to get into the milk bar at night.
