Download the Texture pack it should be in a .zip file (you will need 7zip or WinRAR) then you need to put the .zip file in your minecraft Texture Pack folder which is located in you AppData if you are using Windows Machines.
My favourite Minecraft texture pack is probably Summerfields Craft, and it's pretty realistic, and it's awesome. I got it on a list of the ten best minecraft texture packs. By the way, Diamond Craft on this list of 10 things, and LB Photo Realism both don't work properly. Transparent craft is one of the best, and of course Summerfields is probably the most realistic.
What? No, texture packs only affect mood and color.
only minecraft classic multiplayer is free, beta mp is for premium only a.k.a buy the game.
Beds were not introduced into Minecraft until Beta 1.3, so no.
It's probably outdated. When Minecraft updates, all the mods need to be updated also.Make sure they are still a .zip file when you put them in the Textures file. And did you select it when you logged into Minecraft?
it will work for any minecraft version
How did the texture pack "mess it up"? Doesn't it work to open Minecraft or is there anything in the game that doesn't work? Be specific when you ask a question. Anyway, you can try to delete the texture pack files from the Minecraft folder. If it still doesn't work, you should uninstall Minecraft and download and install it again. You can download Minecraft as many times as you want once you have bought it.
You can't? The only way is to type '%appadata%' in your start menu (or whatever you have) and press enter. Go to '.minecraft'. After that, click 'texture packs' and drag the file into 'texture packs'
All texture packs "work" with minecraft 1.3.2. it is just that the new items (if the pack says 1.2.5 or less) may either be a wrong color, invisible, or default. if it says 1.3.2 it is fine, and will work perfectly.
Because the image for the skin is located in the texture pack it self and it automatically uses that instead the skin you set up.

There are a few reasons this could have happened. First of all, you need to make sure it is an SD texture back. (16x16) If it is any higher than this, you have an HD texture pack, and unless you patch your minecraft, there is no way you are going to use an HD texture pack. What you need to do is download a program called MC Patcher. I'll have the link on the bottom. You need to make sure you have a fresh minecraft.jar and bin. To do this you will have to delete your .minecraft folder and then run minecraft. If you want to save the levels you are working on go to/roaming/.minecraft/saves if you are on a PC. For mac it is Library/ApplicationSupport/minecraft/saves. Drag the saves onto your desktop or wherever before you delete the .minecraft and replace it after. Then open MC Patcher and click the patch button at the bottom and drag your texture pack (make sure it ends in .zip) into your texture packs folder. It should work fine if on a PC. If you are on a mac you may experience different results. I hope this worked, if it did not, i'm sorry I couldn't answer your question.
Minecraft is no longer in the Alpha stage. It has been updated to Minecraft Beta. Update your Minecraft game client.
Redownload it. That's the only way to fix it.
For Mac Users Only: First, you must download the texture pack and it will appear in your downloads folder so you should have minecraft otherwise this won't work. Drag the file into the Library Folder, then there should be a folder called application support so drag it in and then, there is a folder called minecraft so inside there are a list of folders and put it in the folder that is called texture packs.
The Vanilla version of Minecraft refers to the game with no mods or texture packs installed.
