First of all you've got to open the cheat box [ctrl+shift+c], write "moveobjects on" and obviously press enter, then you place the fireplace where you want it to be (afterwards you can't move it, or, better, you can but the cimney will appear again), select the hammer tool and delete the chimney, only the chimney. The fireplace is supposed to stay there while the chimney should disappear (if your house has more floors you have to go to avery floor and delete the chimney with the hammer). If it doesn't work then I don't know, I get rid of the chimneys this way C:
