Simple: Use the SS Anne Detailed: Defeat the Kimono girls in Ecruteak city and get the rainbow feather. Procced to the tin tower and capture/defeat Ho-Oh. If you are playing SoulSilver, go to the Whirl Islands(Route 41) and capture/defeat Lugia. Proceed to the Indigo Plateau by travelling through the water route east to New Bark Town. Defeat the Elite Four and the Champion. The credits will roll. After that go to Elm's Lab and talk to Professor Elm. He will give you the SS. Anne ticket. Go to Olivine City and go to the Port which is located in the far south. Professor Oak will be there. He will give you something. Get into the SS. Anne. You will have to complete a miniquest in order for the ferry to get to Vermillion City in Kanto. If you move towards your left, a man will come, tell something and leave. Battle the trainers and to go the captain's room.(I think it is the captain's room. I don't know Japanese) A little girl will be there, talk to her. She will go away. Find her and talk to her again. The man will come and take her. Proceed to the man's room. He will give you a metal coat and thank you. Then the Ferry will arrive in Vermillion City. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! YOU ARE NOW IN KANTO
You have to finish all 8 Gyms including Champion Lance and the Elite Fours and then go back to Proffessor Elm and get a ticket from him to go on the S.S Aqua Ship at Olivine City only on Fridays and Mondays.
