If you get a Bronze medal, you will receive some money. If you get a Silver medal, you will be given 2 gems, experience points, and I THINK a little money, too. If you receive a Gold medal, you get 5 gems, experience points, and I think you get money, too. (I may be wrong about the cash, but you certainly do get gems and XP.) I hope this helps.
