After you've beaten the Elite Four, go to the Fight Area where the two people are blocking your way and they will be gone. Talk to the fisherman behind where they used to be and he will give you a super rod. PS: You can get a wailord with it. Not true! You have to gain the National Dex, then go there and the people will be gone.
