You can't purchase a Silver Egg in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle in the Black Market. So you have to get one from the Tiny Chao Garden in Sonic Advance. You need a Game Boy Advance-Nintendo Gamecube Link Cable to connect. Buy a Silver Egg in the Game Boy Advance and on the Gamecube, step on the red button on the Chao Transporter. Then select Pick Up. The GBA has to be turned ON. Then select the Silver Egg and then select Pick Up at the bottom. You will now have a Silver Egg into your Chao Garden. A Silver Egg is only 500 rings. Or sonic adventure DX has a free silver chao! Ok with sonic or tails go to the mystic ruins and so to the lake. Over their to your left you will see a weird stone thing. Push it (by walking against it). Then turn to the waterfall their you will see another rock release from it. Then it will float to shore and pick it up and take it to the chao garden! (Make sure you take it to the mystic ruins chao garden) then transport it to the gameboy to Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and done!!

I know one hack; it's how to duplicate a chao! There are lots more, like: playing as metal sonic, super sonic, Nazo the Red Hedgehog, etc. in any stage. To duplicate a chao you need to have two memory cards with game data from sonic adventure 2 battle in them and sonic advance with a link cable to the game cube. Take out the Sonic Advance cartridge, then hook the link cable to the GameBoy Advance and Game Cube. Now you can turn on both gaming systems. Go into the chao garden to pick your chao. Now put it into the chao transporter. make a copy of the chao and send it to the GameBoy Advance the GameBoy wil say Nintendo then go to the tiny chao garden.Now on the GameCube go to options and switch memory cards. Then transport the chao copy to the GameCube, once done pick up the chao wait 10 seconds and transfer the chao to the other memory card, then go back to the other memory card, and now you have two of the same chao.(this is recommended if you have a very strong or expensive chao) Good luck =)

you have to raise a chao with shadow.Actually, you can do it with any character, but you have to consantly punch it, jump on it or hit it. Afterwards, you will see your chao turn red and black. Now just wait until it evolves and dont pet him or give him food.Well, you could do that, or you could pet it till it turns black+red, give it those green thingies (no animals) and spend about three hours with it in the garden, then, when you see a seed-shaped thing around it, its evolving, which takes about 30 seconds! :)
