if you catch a chansey you have 5% chances that it holds a lucky egg! you can catch cansey in the safari zone... area 2 is the best place with 4% chances of seeing a chansey each time you battle a wild pokemon! it makes 0.2% or 1/500 chances of seeing a chansey with an egg...
