After you get the key and unlock Fugue Forest you can find one Fugue Mushroom growing there everyday. Once you go through 3 screens, you should arrive at a screen without trees and rocks. On this screen, the camera angle will also be different.
After that screen, go through another three screens. On the third screen after that different one, the Fugue Mushroom will be growing. It's purple and shines like perfect crops, but might be behind a tree (thus, you'd have to look pretty hard to find it).
