After reaching a certain point in the story (I forget when) Gus (the gremlin traveling with you) will give you a tutorial cut scene on how to use T.V. sketches. Afterward, you will receive some TV sketches of your own and can by found in various areas throughout the game and can be bought at the Emporium on Mean Street. T.V. sketches can be used two different ways. One way is to place one near some enemies. The T.V. will play a clip from Mickey's first cartoon, Steam Boat Willie, and the enemies will watch and won't attack you or even follow you. They are then vulnerable to attacks. Shooting them with paint or thinner will cause them to stop watching the T.V. and spinning on them will cause them to be stunned as usual and then stop watching the T.V. The T.V. also works on bunny children that aren't attached to you. When you use a T.V. sketch near a Beetleworks (those robot enemies) they will go up to it and attack it causing them to get shocked and take a lot of damage which is often fatal to the Beetleworks. This works great in a situation with a lot of Beetleworks around you. The other use of the T.V. sketches is to activate T.V. pads. These pads have a picture on them that looks like the T.V. sketch. Once you put a T.V. sketch on them they generate an electrical flow used to activate certain machines and such. Things to keep in mind when using the T.V. sketch are they do not work on bosses and if they are hit with enough thinner, the T.V. will disappear and the enemies will no longer be distracted. The T.V. sketch,as you can see, is quite useful and is a great distraction to enemies, an amazing damage dealer to Beetleworks, and is used for unlocking quite a large variety of secrets and unlockables.

Ok, so on epic mickey, you drop a TV by pointing your wii remote at the place you want the TV to drop. You press the minus button. If you are in tomorrow square, which is where it gives you the ability to use TVs (i think), put TVs on all three power panel's whatever their called) until the people movers are working. you follow the tram path the opposite way they are moving (you will have to jump over the people movers and electricity, which will take a few tries.) and their will be a door at the end leading you to the next level (or whatever). Hope this helps! (and this officially makes me a nerd..)
