on the genesis version, press ^down<> and you shoud hear a sound as if you had gotten a ring. now all you have to do is press A + start, and WALLA, YOU have gotten level select!!!!!!!!
if you have it on a playstation complitation press as above but with a replaced as square. Also, hold square for the entire time.
