My personal favorite for the money earning is dancing. You have to go to the Dance Studio in Campo San Polo and audition. If you do well, you take the costume home. Whenever you want to dance, you put it on (while at the Ca Nascosta) and go back to dance. There are two other ways of earning money. You can click on garbage to try to collect coins, or you can purchase a smoker to smoke the bugs on the roof of the Ca Nascosta and take the flowers.
