It is impossible to install Minecrat Forge on to the PS3 for two main reasons. The first one being that minecraft Forge is a program that is purely written to be used on a computer and has not been developed to work on consoles. The second reason is that Minecraft Forge is written in the Java programming language. This is so that it be compatible with the computer version of Minecraft, which is also written in Java. However, when Mojang decided to port their game over to consoles such as the Xbox 360 and PS3, they rewrote the whole game in the C++ and C# programming languages in order to optimize the games performance. This change resulted in making a Java written Minecraft Forge and a C++ and C# written Minecraft completely incompatible.
