When you're in the air, hold down the mouse button as you come down. Hold down the mouse button as long as you'd like to grind. The longer you grind, the more pints you'll get, and I've discovered that if you do 3 to 5 flips in a jump and then grind, you'll rack up points faster. You can also do tricks while grinding.
