Okay first of all it matters what control type your using: Wii remote sideways, Wii remote with Nunchuk, Classic controller or Gamecube controller. I will explain each one for you. For the Wii remote sideways the 1 button is your special button, the 2 button is the attack button and the D pad is to move, A is to Taunt and B is your shield, using the 1 button and the D pad you can use ness's specials pk flash, pk thunder, pk fire and pk magnet. For the wii remote with nunchuk: The nunchuk's control stick is to move, the C button is to jump, the Z button is to use your shield, on the wii remote A is to attack, B is to use your special moves and 1 and 2 is your taunt buttons, the d-pad can be used to throw items and characters and use your shield. For the classic controller and gamecube controller: Use Y or X to jump, A to attack, B to use special moves, Z to throw characters or items or use your shield, L and R are to grab characters and throw items and use your shield, the control stick is to move, the C stick (for the gamecube controller) lets you use smash attacks right away, the D pad lets you move. Have an exciting experience in brawl!
