Synchro monsters are indeed powerful, but just remember they are just like any other monster card. The best way to defeat many of them is to use cards that remove them from play or send them back into the Extra Deck. Destroying and sending them to the Graveyard is not always the best option since:
If you want to stop Synchro Summoning in the first place, an anti-Special Summon deck is a good idea. Use cards like "Vanity's Fiend", "Royal Oppression", "Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo", and many more.
Konami has recently added Synchro Monsters to the list of cards. Also, they have changed the Fusion Deck to an "Extra Deck" to accomodate the new Synchro Monsters. They have also released Psychic and Divine-Beast as new Monster Types and DIVINE as a new Attribute. A newly released game type is a Turbo Duel. Along with that come Speed Spells which can only be used in a Turbo Duel.
Generally, no. Game mechanics only permit a player to Synchro Summon on their own turn. The only exception to this rule is the Urgent Tuning card which can be activated during your opponent's Battle Phase as well as your own .Urgent TuningAttribute: TRAPProperty: NormalActivate only during the Battle Phase. Synchro Summon 1 Synchro Monster. (Send the appropriate Synchro Material Monsters to the Graveyard.)Now you can because since there was a new form of synchro summoning call accel synchro which allows you to summon one when it your opponents' turn at anytime on that turn but you must have the requirements on the field first before doing an accel synchro summon.
It depends on the Metagame (the decks and strategies that are the most dominant). To my knowledge popular cards include (but not limited to): # Dark Armed Dragon # Crystal Seer # Dark Magician of Chaos # Blue-Eyes White Dragon # The five Exodia pieces and related cards # Many of the new Synchro Monsters # If you look at the Banned/Restricted List, some of the cards that are Banned or Limited are popular.
"the minimum number is 40 cards after that as many as you want"Actually, now since the 5D era is now upon us, the new stradegy guide that comes with the Yusei mini tin (Contains 3 Yusei duelist packs, 1 Duelist Genesis pack, 3 Holofoil cards from the new Raging battle packs and I Ultra Rare card, in this case Stardust Dragon/Assualt Mode, ($14.92 at Walmart=Canadian Money) the new rules are a Minimum of 40 Cards and a Maximum of 60 Cards. To simplify what this guy just said 40-60 main deck 0-15 in a extra deck main deck has monsters, ritual monsters, spells and traps but side deck has XYZ,synchro and fusion cardsA Yugioh deck is 40 cards minimum and 60 cards maximum. Here is also the usual structure of a Yu-gi-oh deck20 Monster or effect monster cards10 spell cards10 trap cardsAnyway you can vary the different amount of cards for each type(e.g monster spell or trap) but that all depends on what type of deck you are using. The fusion deck is separate from your original deck and can contain as many fusion cards as you want. The most recent number/estimate is 5400 cards.
If you want to change your monster type, you have to start a new account or if you just want to change the color of your monster you have to be a paid Moshi Member. Whichever monster you chose when you first make your account will be the permanent monster you will have.
An accel synchro summon works when you tuner your synchro monsters with a synchro tuner monster, creating a more powerful monster. There is only one of these monsters (as of December 13, 2009) that exists. But the number will grow. Hope this helps! :) A second form of an accel synchro summon works is when you have a synchro monster, you can use two tuner monster to accel synchro it or in other words double tuner your monster to form a new one stronger version of it.

yes, Synchro Monsters are new cards that when having the right cards on the field allows you to synchro summon them from your extra deck(fusion deck). Psychic is a new type of mpnster that have effects that negate cards through monster effects by paying lifepoints, and some give you life points. Tuner monsters are considered normal and effect monsters and when on the field allows you to release(sacrifice) one tuner monster and one or more non-tuner monsters that allow you to synchro summon a synchro monster from your deck. Example: I have a face up Junk Synchron(Tuner) Lv. 3 and a face up defense speed warrior(Non-tuner) Lv. 2. I release both to synchro summon Junk Warrior Lv. 5. So basically you release a tuner and a non-tuner whose stars add up to the level of the synchro monster you want to summon. One more thing there are new rules as well. First off, 40 cards are the minimum amount of cards you can have and 60 is the max. Second, some terms have been changed; sacrifice is changed to release, tribute summon is changed to advance summon, and fusion deck is changed to advance summon. The third rule is that instead of having 15 cards even in your side deck, you can have 14 or even one. So its not set to a certain number but no more than 15. The last rule is that you can only have 15 cards in your extra deck and you can't go over that limit. Sucks for elemental heroes, i mean they weren't that good before but this just kills the people that like to use lots of fusion.
If you mean Synchro Monsters, they are. The newest ones nowadays are the black Xyz. but before Xyz during the Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's era they were new monsters in your extra deck you summon by sending to the graveyard from your side of the field (most commonly although some require two or specific tuners) a tuner monster and another non tuner monster whose total levels equal the synchro. Hope this helps.

you use it to defeat a vine monster
Tribute summons are performed in the main phases, as are synchro summons. So if you have an attack phase and attack with one monster, the only way you can use it as tribute for a tribute summon (or send it for a synchro summon) is to enter Main Phase 2. If you do this, then you won't be able to declare an attack with the new monster since you have left the battle phase. The only thing you could do really is use an effect that can Special summon while you are still in the battle phase.
i prefer fusion I would say Synchro monsters. They are new and improve and much way better then most Fusion monster. It really don't matter but I say Fusion monsters are kinda old and too simple in summoning stronger monsters. Synchro monsters in the other hand are like future way of summoning monters and give it that new way. The only thing that make Fusion cards a little ok is the Elemental Heros cards. If you compare them both I know you stick with the Synchro monster.
From all the latest episodes (as well as the ones from the original cards, I think?!)!
white bordered Yu-Gi-Oh! cards are called Synchro monsters. they are the featured cards in the new Yu-Gi-Oh! show Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's and they need to meet special requirements to summon them.
In Alinos, you first have to defeat the 1 boss in there. second, you have to get new places on there and defeat the Fire Spawn(a lava monster). By the way, it's a magmaul.
