You cannot cure Pokerus yourself since once Pokemon are infected with it then they will keep it forever however each new day (up to 4 days) the game will decide whether to cure the infectious nature of Pokerus or not. Pokerus is a good thing to have since it will double the amount of EVs that the infected battling Pokemon will earn when an opponent Pokemon is defeated and as long as it remains contagious it can spread Pokerus to other Pokemon in your party however the game will not get rid of the contagious or infectious nature of Pokerus if the Pokemon is placed in a PC Box.

A bad egg is an egg that never hatches and stays in your PC forever, and if you move it your PC glitches up. That is true, but there are some other things a bad egg can do. I have one, so I should know. Here's how I got it 1: Used gameshark pokerus cheat. 2: Started Emerald version 3: Fought a trainer. 4: Caught his Pokemon. (part of the odd-cheat) 5: Nicknamed it Linoone. 6: Checked my party. 7: Linoone was a bad egg with pokerus! My bad egg never lost its pokerus because the eternal clock stopped working. I put it in my party and gave all my Pokemon pokerus. Also, if you put bad EGG in a PC and a Pokemon next to it, it will turn into a bad egg. I never tried it because one bad egg is enough. They can't be deleted unless you delete your save file. And about the PC glitching up, that's not true. I moved it from one box to another and nothing bad happened, and you can put it in your party.
If you get a Pokerus, then you're very lucky. So keep the Pokemon that you want to get the Pokerus spread to, and keep them in your party. As you travel, the Pokerus will gradually spread to all of the Pokemon in your party. Another great note - If you want every single Pokemon you have to get Pokerus, then keep one Pokemon with Pokerus in your PC Box. I think the Pokerus doesn't go away there, so you can keep on spreading Pokerus to every other!
The Pokerus is not a cheat, but a random status aliment that Pokemon can contract. Obtaining Pokerus is largely random, but can be spread by having a Pokemon with Pokerus in the party with other uninfected Pokemon.
There is no Pokerus in Fire Red , im sorry :(
A Pokemon can get Pokerus in any game. You can get pokerus by meeting a wild Pokemon infected by Pokerus. When you have Pokerus, all Pokemon that is with it (your party or a box etc. ) will also be infected by Pokerus. But if it is kept in your party, Pokerus will gradually go away. Your Pokemon does still does get boosted EVs however. if you want to have a pokerus in ur Pokemon that badly just use action replay code to get it... and if u want to remove it then just change your date like 5 days or more
