How do you craft in Minecraft?

Make a workbench by placing 4 wooden planks like this:

E E E

P = Planks

E = Empty

Then a block will pop up in the right hand side.

click shift and then click it.
U have to get wood from trees in inventerory put wood in bottom left box then wooden planks come put wooden planks in all boxes then crafting table come craft anything that's it
