I have do not know what this " Mindcraft " thing is, or what a journal is, but, I can tell you how to make a Book and Quill, the game minecraft's equivalent to a journal.

To craft such an item, you need a book, which is crafted from a piece of leather and three pieces of paper. You can gain leather from cows, and you get paper from three sugar cane. You also need an ink sac, an item dropped by squids, and a feather, dropped by a chicken. Put those together, in no particular order, and you got yourself a book and quill, and item you can write in.
