You need to change your Country to one that uses Imperial (USA) in the Wii Setup Menu.
You have to go to the wii menu and click on Settings . Then you go onto date and time and change it from there. It will be the correct time on Wii Fit. More specifically, after you have gone to the Wii Console's Menu, clicked on the Wii icon in the lower left corner (Wii Options), and selected the wrench (Wii Settings), you will next select Calendar (2nd option), and change your date and time from within there. As mentioned before, changing the date and time on the console will carry it over to the Wii Fit.

BMI is how fit you are. In accordance to your height and age, you should be a certain weight. You cannot really just 'change' it. The only way to change it is to start using the Wii Fit and do some workouts!
