It has a built in camara, MP3 player, web browser, Brain Age Math and Brain Age Reading, Flipnote studio, you can buy games without a game card that go directly onto your DSi, and basiclly everything a DS has. The only difference is it has no Game Boy compatibility.

The DSi XL comes preloaded with Brain Age: Letters and Arts, Brain Age: Numbers, FilpNote Animation Studio, DS Web Browser (no you can't watch YouTube videos or Flash Videos), a camera software, photo editor, and Photo Dojo (where you take pictures of you and your friends and then the game animates them and you can play games with them).
As far as I know, I believe you can't change the language setting on the game. However, you can change the language setting on your DS, DS Lite, of DSi, and that might just work. I'm not exactly positive, but it never hurts to try!
Go on System settings and go to number four and tap language to change it.:)
