To catch a whismur, you have to have defeated Red at Mt. Silver. On Wednesdays, tune your Pokegear radio to the music channel. It will be playing Hoenn music, and with this music playing while walking through the grass, you have a chance at finding whismur and other hoenn Pokemon.
first it has to be wedsday then go to pokegear then to radio then change to the hoeen sound and it is best to be found at mt silver
