After you beat Cyrus at Spear Pillar, you can now gain access to all of the three lakes. You'll need a Water-type Pokemon and the HM Surf.(I used Palkia) When you get to Lake Acuity, go in front of it and pick the Pokemon that learned Surf. Then, go all the way to the cavern. You may encounter a few Water-type Pokemon. If you must, you can run away to skip the battles. When you reach the cavern, go forward till you reach Uxie. Talk to him and the battle begins!! Make sure you brought LOTS of Ultra Balls, because catching a Legendary Pokemon with a catch rate of 3 is NOT easy. If you have a Master Ball, you can simply use that and Uxie will be yours!! But if you have Dusk Balls and a Pokemon that has the "Hypnosis" move or any move that paralyzes, you can do that and keep throwing the Dusk Balls(I recommend you save bbefore battling).
