The easiest way to beat the water-type gym leader is by using a strong grass or electric type Pokemon. If you use grass though, watch out for ice-type moves because it will make the battle much harder. Some Pokemon that would be useful are Breloom, Sceptile, and Vileplume for grass-types and Raichu, Magneton, and Manectric for electric-types. Also be sure to bring ice heals and hyper potions.
