How do you beat the first level of halo 1?

first at beginging start through tutorial yea do the light thing then do spinning thing then watch guy get shot by elite then run through door watch guy get blown up by door then turn left go through pipes turn right head forward duck under door then go to right then left at door run through elite should be sitting right there run past him to the left then keep going it should become clear from there
