Well, I barely beat them. I felt like taking the hard way out rather than training over and over. My Pokemon were Vaporeon lv. 49, Moltres lv.50, Venasaur lv. 57, Pidgeot lv. 57, Articuno lv. 53, and Zapdos lv. 58. As you can see, it was kind of hard for me...

Anyway, basically what you can do is like save the game before you go in, duh, and just scan through the elite four. You should have an understanding as to which Pokemon is best against another. That way, you can create a perfect six. I did that and as you see in my 6 Pokemon, I have a fairly wide variety of Pokemon to fight with. The rival, since I chose Bulbasaur as my starter, had Charizard. The first time I tried to beat the elite four (remember, you won't beat them with one try, most of the time) I couldn't beat his Charizard. That was my weakness, for I didn't have a water Pokemon. I then trained my Vaporeon to beat him and I soon won.

Just remember to find good matchups and make sure they are strong. Develop strategies to improve your fights.

i had lv 50 articuno lv 51 zapdos lv 41 venusaur lv 42 flareon lv 41 slowbro and a lv 37 dugtrio about 20 revives and 15 hyper potions i recommend you save the game each time you defeat one trainer in the elite four but make sure you teach the move surf to a good Pokemon if you picked bulbasaur as a starter because then your rival will have a charizard which is effective against venusaur and remember that if your Pokemon fall asleep you can play the poke Flute to wake them up plus you should teach your zapdos thunder you can find the move thunder in the same building that you find zapdos in if you want to know how to find zapdos just search on YouTube or something good luck
