There are 3 levels as usual in Causality 3.
Level 1 (Train Station) - There are 5 victims.
- Wait for the first person to come down the escalator and reach the newspaper reading man. Click the top pink button on the soda machine and it dispenses a can. He goes to pick it up and starts to drink it.
- As the skateboarder comes flying down the escalator, click it to reverse direction, and he falls, and goes to the ticket counter.
- Click quickly the soda can and then the train sign so that it says ARRIVING. The soda will spill, the drinker will fall onto the tracks, and so will the newspaper guy, who slips on the soda. Click the ARRIVING sign twice more, and you will notice that the train vibrations are causing the bolts to fall from the sign.
- One train goes through. When the next arrives, the sign is down to two bolts. As the second train leaves, quickly click the "boom box" of the guy under the escalator. He will do a spin move and distract the skateboarder as the sign kills the ticket agent. When the dancing guy gets to his feet, click the ticket booth, which falls, killing the skateboarder and sending his skateboard to decapitate the break dancer.
- Slide the metal cover over the ticket window, and make sure the escalator is now going up. Click the locker to release the stuck yellow object and the guy starts left and up the escalator. Click the bottom, exposing the gears, and click to reverse the escalator downward, shoving the last victim into them.
Level 2 (Restaurant) - There are 8 victims.
There is a long prelude in which you have to wait and then do several things relatively quickly.
- Click the poison container on the preparing table in the kitchen (bottom), The busboy will take it to the dumbwaiter. Click the small red button to send it up. The waitress at the top will serve it to a diner, who will get sick and run to the restroom. You kill her by clicking the ornate wall sculpture.
- As the blue bird flies over to land on the antenna, click and hold on the side of the roof water tank just to the right and a small vent will open. Click the antenna to drop the bird into the exhaust fans, and his guts go all over, including into the water supply. The fan blade decapitates one diner. The other 2 diners run left onto the balcony with the waitress. Click the balcony support to drop all 3 onto the smoking busboy below.
- When the red water gets the dishwasher to call over the cook, click the pan to set fire to the kitchen. The cook and dishwasher run into the meat freezer. Click the thermometer over the door and they freeze to death.
Level 3 (Space) - There are 7 or more stick astronaut victims.
- As the shuttle prepares to dock, click near the rear and it rams the station. Click the white helmet so that astronaut leaves the module and eventually goes out to the crane arm to work on the shuttle. Click the straps on the unsuited astronaut, and click the crane arm so it bends.
- The red astronaut moves down into the damaged area as well. Click on the fire extinguisher to empty it.
- Click on the blue spots in the upper left module, which will spill and start a fire. The stick astronaut there will get the extinguisher, but eventually gets crisped.
- As the space-walking astronaut just below that room moves left, click the antenna, then his tether line, which catches on the antenna and breaks, sending him onto the crossbeam. Click so he grabs it, then repeatedly to make him let go of the beam, and he floats into the solar panel. It breaks and he is electrocuted, and the shuttle repairer as well. The red astronaut is vaporized in an explosion. The treadmill speeds up and kills the astronaut there.
- Click the shuttle to drive it into the left module, where the final victim is sucked into space.

To beat level 1 in Causality 5, you should guide each stickman to their designated exit point without crossing paths. Analyze the sequence of events carefully, identify the order in which each stickman needs to move, and manipulate the environment to create a safe path for them. It may take some trial and error to figure out the correct sequence.
